Build a team that can make and defend hard decisions.

Combine one continuous company simulator with real business cases. The course builds a shared process; the case library makes the team apply it across functions, industries and stakes.

10course chapters
18judgment methods
50company cases

Teach the process, then test whether it transfers.

The Latchkey course gives everyone the same decision process. Real-company cases then change the industry, evidence and stakes.

The Business Judgment Course

01 · Shared foundation

One fictional company, one accumulating story and ten decisions. Participants learn the same eighteen methods where they are actually needed.

  • Ten connected chapters
  • Emails, dashboards, meetings and board memos
  • One-shot tests and evaluated written decisions
  • Fully self-paced individual accounts

The real company case library

02 · Deliberate transfer

Participants face fresh contexts without seeing the ending. Each case tests whether the decision process holds when the company and evidence change.

  • 50 published company cases
  • 15 interactive decision boards
  • Private five-dimension reasoning reviews
  • Historical decision and outcome benchmarks

A four-step practice cycle.

Fit the cycle into an academy, offsite or cohort: participants decide alone, receive feedback, then discuss the calls together.

  1. 01

    Set a baseline

Open with one standalone case. Everyone makes the same call independently, so the room can see how its reasoning differs before training begins.

    A visible starting point

  2. 02

    Build the process

Participants work through the Latchkey simulator in sequence, learning eighteen methods inside ten connected company decisions.

    A shared decision language

  3. 03

    Practise transfer

Move into cases from other industries and functions. The facts change; the quality of framing, evidence and commitment still has to hold.

    Practice across contexts

  4. 04

    Debrief together

Use private individual work as preparation for a live discussion of trade-offs, assumptions and reversal conditions.

    Better conversations at work

Programmes for five types of teams.

The course and case library stay the same. Assignments and live discussion are adapted to the audience.

Compare decisions using the same five criteria.

A common vocabulary

01

Teams can name a weak frame, missing alternative or absent reverser without arguing from taste.

Independent positions

02

People commit before hierarchy and group dynamics pull the room toward one answer.

Evidence-led debate

03

The conversation moves from who sounds confident to what the case can actually support.

A repeatable practice loop

04

New cases let the team rehearse the same decision moves under different pressure.

Questions about team use.

01What is included in a team programme?+

The core offer combines individual access to the ten-chapter Business Judgment Course with the published case library, written feedback and a live discussion format. We shape the sequence around your audience and learning goal.

02Does everyone work through the same material?+

The course creates a common foundation. Standalone cases can then be assigned to the whole cohort or selected by role, function and discussion theme.

03Can facilitators see private answers?+

Not in the current product. Answers and reviews remain in each participant’s account. Participants choose what to bring into the live discussion.

04Is this an employee assessment?+

No. decidenda is designed for development and deliberate practice, not high-stakes selection or performance evaluation. Scores describe the reasoning shown in a specific answer.

05What does one paid seat include?+

One seat is one named participant account with the Business Judgment Course, the published case library, written feedback, a saved workbook and a personal case log. Live facilitation and custom reporting are separate services.

06How is Enterprise billed?+

Enterprise starts at 50 seats and costs $39 per seat per month, billed annually. The starting annual contract is $23,400.
